Guide to Cookie Cake Sizes
How big is a slice, really? It depends on who's cutting it. Our serving suggestions are just that, suggestions, since a party full of cake lovers might cut things a little differently than we would. Use these as a general guide for your event, and feel free to add on a dozen or so Nibblers just in case you run out of cake. The horror!
Round Cakes
Round cakes get sliced from the center outward, like a pie. Our "full slice" count is a generous portion, and our "party slice" count is a smaller cut for when you want more pieces to go around. And if you feel like cutting your round cake into squares, literally no one will stop you.
Mini (4"): 1–2 slices
Small (8"): 6 full slices, 12 party slices
Medium (12"): 12 full slices, 24 party slices
Large (16"): 24 full slices, 48 party slices
Rectangle Cakes
Rectangle cakes are generally cut into even squares. A full slice runs about 2x2 inches, while a party slice comes in at 2x1, perfect for when you want more pieces to go around.
Small (1/8 sheet): 6 full slices, 12 party slices
Medium (1/4 sheet): 12 full slices, 24 party slices
Large (1/2 sheet): 24 full slices, 48 party slices
