Ordering online from a small cottage bakery isn't always as simple as walking into a storefront, so here's a walkthrough of exactly how it works, using a real example.

Once you click “Add to Cart” a pop up form will open to complete the following customizations.

Enter your event date.

Each cookie cake has a prep time of 1 day. If you need your cookie cake within 2 business days, please reach out to check availability. It may change when your order is available. Provide the date you need the cookie cake by.

Choose your vanilla buttercream colors.

You'll see 5 color fields on the form, Colors 1 and 2 are included, Colors 3 through 5 require a matching add-on from the shop . Be as specific as you can, "Aggie Maroon" works much better than "red," and "Dark Blue" works better than "blue."

Example Order

Here's how one customer might build a cake:

- Flavor: Chocolate Chip

- Base Buttercream Flavor: Chocolate (used for the border)

- Vanilla Buttercream Color 1 (included): Aggie Maroon

- Vanilla Buttercream Color 2 (included): White

- Vanilla Buttercream Color 3 (requires add-on): Orange

- Message: "BTHO Tenn"

- Notes: "BTHO" in white vanilla, outlined in chocolate. "Tenn" in orange. Border in maroon, white, and chocolate."

Choose your cookie flavor. Chocolate Chip, Sugar Cookie, S'more, Strawberry, or "A Bit Much."

Choose your frosting style.

  • Naked Base —Traditional cookie cake look that includes a buttercream border and message/design

  • Buttercream Base (+$6) — A base layer of buttercream, plus a buttercream border and message/design

Click "Add to Cart."

Choose your base buttercream flavor.

This is the flavor used for your cake's border and design details, choose Chocolate, White (Vanilla), Strawberry, Chocolate Marshmallow Swirl, or Caramel.

Add a message (optional).

25-character limit. Available on Small, Medium, and Large only, Minis are just a little too small for much writing.

Add your notes.

Use this space to explain your vision, colors, and placement.
